Promotional graphic with the title 'Fun & Accessible AI Tools for Personal Reflection' in bold white text. The background features vibrant, mystical artwork with two symmetrical illustrations of serene individuals in a meditative pose, surrounded by cosmic and natural elements like stars, the moon, and flowers. A central emblem reads 'YAY! THE FUTURE - AI & TECH UPDATES' against a backdrop of space imagery, suggesting a theme of introspection and future technology.

Welcome to the first YaytheFuture AI Tool Review post!

Too many people assume AI isn't accessible and affordable yet, or readily available for just anyone to enjoy its benefits. I am here to show you otherwise! My mind is blown on a daily basis as I discover and play with new AI tools, plug-ins and features for programs I already use (for work, play and otherwise) and wanted to spread the joy by sharing my findings for you to try out as well. These posts are typically from smaller companies and developers that deserve more hype than they get. Many are low-cost or even free to try, thanks to the infancy of AI development, where services are practically rolling out the red carpet for users, so let's explore!

Guided.rest: An AI Tool that Generates Personal Meditations

Traditional guided meditations, while beneficial for many, often fall short in addressing the diverse needs of individuals. They can become repetitive and lack personal relevance. Guided overcomes these barriers by offering AI-generated, personalized meditations, catering to the specific preferences and challenges of each user.

Cost:

A free trial (without needing to enter credit card info) gets you 3 guided meditations up to 5 minutes long, two voices, no re-plays. A basic plan is $7 with 15 meditations per month, up to 10 minutes long, with replay option. Or, choose Premium subscription for $15, with 35 meditations per month.

Guided's AI Advantage:

Deep Personalization: Leveraging AI and LLMs, Guided crafts meditations that resonate deeply with individual needs and preferences, enhancing the overall experience.

Affordability & Accessibility: The use of AI significantly lowers the cost, making personalized meditation experiences widely accessible.

On-Demand Availability: AI-generated meditations are ready in minutes, offering instant support and flexibility to fit any schedule.

Customizable Voices & Durations: Users have complete control over the voice and length of their meditation, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

How It Works:

All you do, is type a few sentences into a form explaining what you would like to experience (the more detailed the better, or choose from generated pre-sets) and a soothing voice does the rest in crafting a unique audio experience tailored to your request.

Here is a brief excerpt from one of mine requesting a meditation to instill creativity and productivity, with some freedom to play:

SelfGazer: AI Enhanced Tarot Readings that Encourage Personal Reflection

Logo for Selfgazer.com, mosiac, on transparent background.

Even if you don't get down with the supernatural, or believe in the divination aspect of a tarot card reading, it can still be a handy tool on the path to personal discovery. While not for diagnosis, a good tarot reading can initiate important reflections about mental health, current situations, and inspire a greater awareness of one's emotional and psychological state. …and in the very least, be an entertaining way to pass some time. Many online tarot readers tend to give generic interpretations but AI enhancement allows a truly personalized reading, connecting all the dots, in a way only a human reader can deliver.

Cost:

Selfgazer offers no paid features and is completely free to use.

Selfgazer Key Features:

Selfgazer emphasizes that its service is for entertainment purposes only and should not be used to diagnose or treat any mental health conditions.

Psychological Insights: Delve into the complexities of your personal psyche with readings that can be like a mirror to your inner self.

Classic Tarot Symbolism: Harness the power of classic tarot symbols to unlock new perspectives and explore different facets of your personality and life experiences.

Self-Exploration: Selfgazer encourages you to dig deep, unravel personal mysteries, and embark on an enlightening path towards self-awareness.

All you do is:

Enter into a form “a question to your higher self”, just what it is that you want your reading to explore. If you're not sure, you can generate questions to ask, like “Am I overlooking something obvious now?” or “Which patterns or beliefs should I release?”

You can then choose a “natural shuffle” (the AI uses it's own deck with special randomization features) or a “physical shuffle” (you use your own cards then enter what you drew and the AI will interpret them for you.)

"True knowledge lies within your intuition"

I was very pleased to see Selfgazer encourages people to read the cards at face value, or with limited qualities shown, to interpret the reading themselves.

Here is my reading!

I picked a pre-set question and asked, “How am I hindering my own progress?”

A screenshot of an online tarot card reading from the 'selfgazer' website, with the question 'How do I hinder my own progress?' posed at the top. The spread includes three tarot cards laid out horizontally. From left to right: 'The Empress' labeled as 'III', representing fertility, creativity, abundance, growth, nature, motherhood, sensuality, prosperity, expansion, and development; 'Justice' labeled as 'VIII', symbolizing balance, fairness, impartiality, equality, righteousness, legality, and equilibrium; and 'The Devil' labeled as 'XV', associated with temptation, bondage, materialism, lust, fear, addiction, control, darkness, ignorance, and deception. There are icons to the right for 'Hide Hints', 'View Reading', and 'Start Over'. A navigation arrow below the cards suggests more content, with the label 'ENERGY' indicating the theme of the next set of cards or information.

"The cards you've drawn have a combined energy that indicates a need for self-reflection and awareness of certain patterns that may be hindering your progress. The Empress, Justice, and The Devil cards offer valuable insights into the ways you might be impeding your own growth."

The Empress represents abundance, nurturing, and creativity. It suggests that you have a strong potential for growth and success, but there may be a tendency to become overly attached to comfort or material possessions. This attachment could lead to a lack of motivation or complacency, preventing you from taking risks or exploring new opportunities.

Justice, on the other hand, urges you to examine your actions and decisions with objectivity and fairness. It suggests that you might be too harsh or critical towards yourself, leading to self-doubt and a fear of making mistakes. This self-judgment can create a sense of imbalance and prevent you from moving forward with confidence.

The Devil card serves as a warning sign that you may be holding onto unhealthy habits, addictions, or negative thought patterns. It represents the temptations and limitations that can keep you trapped in a cycle of self-sabotage. It is important to recognize these patterns and find the strength to break free from them in order to progress towards your goals

To not hinder your own progress, it is crucial to address these issues. Start by examining your attachment to comfort and material possessions. Are you holding onto things that no longer serve you? Are you afraid to step out of your comfort zone? Embrace change and take calculated risks that align with your true desires. Next, practice self-compassion and fairness. Treat yourself with kindness and understanding, just as you would treat a dear friend. Recognize that making mistakes is a natural part of growth and learning. Embrace your imperfections and use them as opportunities for personal development."
